This childcare facility in Penrith, features a basement carpark, two floors, and a rooftop area. The mechanical systems include, an exhaust air fan for carpark ventilation, which was optimized using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations to minimize duct quantities. Inline fans for exhaust ventilation in wet areas are also featured in this project, and supply air fans connected to Fan Coil Units (FCUs) to prevent condensation. The air conditioning and heating system is powered by a VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) heat recovery condensing unit, which is connected to ducted and cassette indoor units. This system provides efficient and reliable temperature control throughout the centre.
